MoreI am hoping that some of our neighbors know of someone that they may already use once in a while and like/trust that we could screen and potentially use as our backup. This would be for 4-year-old (not an infant). Criteria: (1) At least older High school or college age (2) Responsible/reliable (3) Local (4) Does not think that babysitting means watching TV or chatting on the cell phone or text messaging (5) Must not be afraid of dogs Some kind of awareness of safety/first aid issues that would have been learned in the American Red Cross babysitting course would be a definite PLUS! We would also welcome a neighborhood stay-at-home Mom if they were interested. Not sure if anyone would be but from time-to-time I have to travel and getting our child to daycare becomes problematic. Would be nice to have alternatives. "

MoreI tried to get a couple of contractors through ServiceMagic but out of the 2 who applied for our project only 1 actually responded, set up a date to do the interview, and left us with a written quote. The other one never called back after the 2nd call. The one who did come out seems reasonable but we'd still like to get some other contractors in for other quotes and hear what they'd have to say. Has anyone had any luck with contractors for a bathroom remodel? Please let me know! "
