I am a professional journalist from Germany. My wife and I moved here in 2008 because a) it's in the city, b) it's diverse and scores high on the walkability index (walkscore.com) and c) our neighborhood features above average-sized backyards.

Which topics are most important to you. e.g.: zoning issues, crime issues, social functions, City/State legislation, etc.

Creating a walkable and inclusive neighborhood

Interested in volunteering? e.g: newsletter delivery or design, crime watch activities, assistance with the Block Party, grant writing, web mastering, liaison with a public official, fundraising, social, committee or board membership, etc.
