I just got home from work and was very impressed with the conditions on Glenoak and Westfield then I turned onto Sefton and was shocked.  Everyone in the 6400 block had worked extremely hard and done a tremendous job on the entire block only now to have the bobcat come thru and block all of our driveways.  I called 311 and was told that they could only do the bobcat work today and "sometime in the future" they would be back with dump trucks to haul away the snow.  I explained to them that this was completely unacceptable and when the bobcat saw the condition of the main roadway on this block they should have done nothing.  She took my report and told me that it had already been reported (report # 186322) but she could not even advise me if there was an escalation process.  I have a physical condition that causes me major balance issues and the snow is enough to deal with without the added burden of not being able to park in my own driveway.  I have now been given another number for the department of transportation [masked]) but they informed me there was no supervisor available.  They in turn told me to call [masked] which we did but only reached a recording.  A message was left so we will see if I receive a response or not.  So I wonder if and when the dump trucks show up, are they going to remove the piles of snow only or actually remove the snow blocking our driveways since that is not in the main roadway???
